Education - Single teacher school
Even after 60 years of independence children residing in deep forests are deprived of the basic education. There are a few schools but are in a very bad shape because of paucity of funds and teachers. Also teachers from the urban areas refrain themselves to come to teach in these schools.
Sewa Bharti trained the youth of the village and with them started the novel concept of single teacher schools which have fast become the centers of formal and informal education.
Infant schools (Baalwadis) and sanskaar kendras

Awareness for religion
Hindu Sangam, Jhabua-2002
From 2845 villages of Dhar and Jhabua 2.5 lakh tribals gathered and took an oath for protecting the attack on their religion. This is considered as one of the biggest such gathering in the world history.
Small temples were established in every home and each villager was given a sacred locket to wear. A strong wave of religious awareness swept these villages and has revolutionized the attitude of the villagers.
The tribals are now unperturbed inspite of incessant cultural attacks on the society. To express their devotion they actively participate in large numbers in Kawad Yatras. Ganesh idol is set up in every village along with samuhik jalabhisheks and chunari yatras.
In slums Satsang kendras, Bhajan Mandalis are organized. Priests and learned people visit these places to enlighten the mass.
